The politburo of Telugu Desam Party which met at NTR Trust Bhavan on Saturday decided to place before the Prime Minister several crucial points when the all-party delegation meets him on  Monday.

The Tdp has taken a strong view about Maharastra which has violated the Central Water Commission's orders on the use of Godavari River waters.

The party is planning to review the agreement signed on April  4, 2006 between Vilas Rao Deshmukh, the then chief minister of Maharashtra and late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the former chief Minister of AP.

The politburo is also stressing on the orders issued by the Supreme Court on May 20, 2006 restraining Maharashtra Government not to set up the crest gates on Babli project.

A delegation of 15 members, to be led by Tdp chief Chandrababu Naidu will leave for New Delhi on Sunday. They  are planning to mobilize support from like-minded national parties on Babli issue. 

In case, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh does not come up  with a satisfactory answer on the Babli issue then the Tdp is planning to lead the agitation right in Delhi.
