Following YS Jagan’s ‘Odarpu Yatra’ and controversies surrounding it, APCC general secretary Ambati Rambabu left his tongue loose against Chief Minister Rosaiah on the first day of Yatra. High Command who treated this as a move against CM has suspended Ambati from the party.
‘Ambati Rambabu has been suspended from the party for his anti-party activities and for his utterances before the media against the Chief Minister K. Rosaiah,’ informed Veerappa Moily before a small gathering of media.
Ambati Rambabu was served with a notice on July 9th asking him to explain the reasons for his personal attack on Chief Minister and a disciplinary action was already known to be on the anvil. With no proper justification for Ambati’s statements, he is suspended from the party.
Ambati Rambabu said that an official copy of suspension from High Command is not yet received and will speak to the media tomorrow morning. This suspension can be easily called as a control mechanism from High Command for all those party workers who are running behind YS Jagan.
