Jagan leaves for Delhi

Congress MP from Kadapa, Mr Y S Jaganmohan  Reddy, left  for Delhi along with his mother  Vijayalkshmi and sister Sharmila. He is expected to make a courtesy call on Congress president Sonia Gandhi along with his family.

Jagan may make the best use of the courtesy call to apprise the Congress High Command on the objective of his Odarpu Yatra .

Jagan  is expected to impress upon the High Command and  seek their approval for the Odarpu Yatra. As reported earlier,  the High Command  was deeply disturbed by the reports about Jagan’s Odarpu yatra which evoked mixed response within the Congress circles.

Powers that-be saw Jagan's yatra as a move to garner public sympathy for his aspirations to the chief minister's post. The disgruntled in the Congress branded the incumbent leader as incapable of handling the turbulence the State confronted in the aftermath of YS Rajasekhar Reddy's death.
