Pawan Kalyan was expected to be a star attraction for the bypoll for the PRP candidate. He, however, made it clear on Saturday that he is busy shooting for his ongoing film and might not find time to take part in the electioneering. The PRP is fielding Mr Duvvada Srishar for the bypoll and the byelection is scheduled for September 10.

Tekkali bypoll is caused due to the sudden demise of the Congress leader and sitting MLA, Mr A K Revathipathi, on June 3. The TDP has already fielded K Atchan Naidu for the seat.

After donating blood at a camp that he inaugurated at the posh Jubilee Hills area in the city on Saturday on the occasion of the 55 th birthday of his brother and PRP founder mega star Chiranjeevi, the Tollywood hero said that he will, however, extend all kinds of cooperation for his elder brother Chiranjeevi. “I am with him in all aspects. Whatever decision he takes I will try to implement them as a loyal party worker,” Pawan Kalyan told media persons.

Asked whether he will participate in the party programmes, he said that he is now busy shooting for a film. “Once the shooting part is complete I will again be back in the party affairs and will take an active role in the day-to-day matters. The shooting will be over very soon,” he stated.
