Naidu blamed for attacking Speaker

Government whip S Sailajanath on Wednesday slammed Telugu Desam Party leader N Chandrababu Naidu for attacking Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy and ''wasting the precious time'' of august body.

Talking to reporters along with MLAs E Pratapa Reddy and Venkatarami Reddy at Congress Legislative Party office, Sailajanath condemned the attitude of Naidu for his comments against the Speaker and Chief Minister K Rosaiah.

“Naidu has no moral right to speak against the Speaker who is disciplined and upright,” he said.

He said the Speaker has allotted maximum time to Naidu  and no other member in the House received such time. However, he did not utilize the precious time for debating issues properly and resorted to blackmailing tactics, forcing the House to adjourn frequently.

He questioned Naidu as to why he did not make his personal stand clear on the bifurcation of the state.

He said the voters rejected the Telugu Desam party twice in succession due to Naidu’s misdeeds and asked it to sit in the Opposition. However, he did not learn a lesson till now, he said.
