TRS Supremo Kcr and his sister Vijayashanthi’s MP resignations which were submitted to Speaker Meira Kumar have been rejected on technical grounds, as per a release from Parliament office.
Both of them may have to submit their resignations afresh since their earlier letters were not in the proper format. Expressions like “in protest against the statement of the home minister” in the letter did not fit the prescribed format.
Few days ago, state Assembly Speaker rejected the resignations of Telangana MLA’s on ‘technical grounds’ and this time it was the turn of Telangana TRS MP’s. As Parliament session is to be held from February 22, one has to wait whether Kcr and Vijayashanthi will go to Delhi to submit their fresh resignations or just fax them again.
Keeping in view these fresh happenings, few sources doubt whether this is a deliberate move by both of these leaders to postpone the resignations. By either reason, Kcr and Ramulamma are back in resignation game.
