Tension again on OU campus

On the charges that they were indulged in acts of violence during the  recent  Telangana  agitation, the Task Force  Police arrested  four  student leaders on the Osmania University  campus Wednesday.

When  the police has descended on the campus to arrest, the students turned violent protesting the arrest of their leader. Following  a scuffle between the students and  the police tension prevailed on the  campus.  Ramesh, a student leader was injured  and was  rushed to the hospital by 108 ambulance.

Resenting the arrest of the student leaders, the students on the OU campus took out a rally from the OU campus to the OU Police Station. Alleging that the police had pushed Ramesh from the top of the building  the students  staged dharna in front of the police station.
