Film shooting vandalised once again

After a lull  for nearly  a month, suspected Telangana  Rashtra  Samiti activists started attacking the shootings of films. The attack this time was directed against the shooting of Krishnudu's next film under Arya productions banner. The attack took place at Vanasthali Hills near Dilsukhnagar here.

Krishnudu has entertained audiences with his humorous flick `Villagelo Vinayakudu'. An attack on the entertainment media is an attack on the finer sensibilities and art is above regionalism, suggested the producers.

The Centre has warned the state leadership and the Telangana activists in particular over and over again about the futility of indulging in vandalism and acts of terrorism.

The Telangana state can never be carved out in an atmosphere of violence, mistrust  and unrest, Home Minister P Chidambaram had warned the TRS leadership.

According to political analysts, they cannot intimidate the Government and secure a separate state. If the UPA government gives in to the demand for Telangana by buckling under pressure of violence, it would send only wrong signals to the entire country.

Meanwhile, the Andhra leaders including Rayapati have slammed this latest attack on film shooting. He said the TRS leaders do not know the meaning of 'freedom of expression'.
