The two-member expert committee which submitted its 110-page report on the chopper crash on Sept 2 at Nallamalla forests which claimed the life of former chief minister Ys Rajasekhara Reddy blamed inclement weather for the crash and ruled out any sabotage. The committee, constituted by the state government on Thursday opined that the mishap had occurred during bad weather when the helicopter encountered a ''severe downdraft''.Talking to media persons after submitting the report, committee member and retired IPS officer M R Reddy said ''There is no evidence to suggest sabotage.

But en route, the weather condition turned bad especially in the hilly terrain,'' Mr Reddy said. It was up to the pilot to decide whether to return or not.
