New Delhi, Feb 5: Chief Minister K Rosaiah met Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily and discussed with him the latest situation in the state and the proposed expansion of his council of ministers.The Chief Minister arrived here in connection with the Congress Working Committee meeting  and  the chief ministers' conference for Saturday. He held an hour-long discussions with Moily who is also the minister in-charge of Andhra Pradesh.The chief minister is believed to have discussed with Moily the terms of reference of the five-member committee constituted on the Telangana issue and the guidelines required to be given to the committee.

In view of the likelihood of the TOR being announced by the weekend, the Rosaiah-Moily meet assumes significance.During his three-day stay in the Capital, Rosaiah is expected to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other Union ministers seeking funds from the Centre to overcome the financial crunch in the estate.Rosaiah’s discussions with the senior Congress leaders in Delhi revolve round the expansion of the state Cabinet and restructuring of the bureaucracy. He might emphasize the need to take radical steps as far as the Cabinet revamp is concerned, a party source said. In all probability, he will get the leverage to rejig the ministry to suit his style of functioning, the sources added.
