Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy on Monday said that the Show Cause Notice served on him by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee was the results of personal grudge of TPCC Chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy against him.

Speaking to media persons here, Komatireddy said no such notices were issued to Rajya Sabha Palwai Goverdhan Reddy or ex-union minister Sarve Satyanarayana when they openly spoke against the party leadership. However, he alleged that he was specifically targeted after he spoke against Uttam Kumar Reddy. He said when he was not willing to accept the leadership of Uttam Kumar Reddy, the Show Cause Notice sent at his instance holds no value before him.

Komatireddy said instead of condemning his statement, Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy should have spoken to Uttam Kumar Reddy on the issues raised by him.

Speaking about the decision of Krishna Water Board, Komatireddy said that it was totally against the interest of Telangana State and would badly hurt the Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts. He asked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to personally meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue. He accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the Centre on the issue of Krishna water sharing.
