Intelligence sees Mao presence on OU campus

Hyderabad, Jan 5: Suspecting the presence of the Maoists on the Osmania University campus, the Intelligence sleuths of both State and the Central governments have rushed  their reports to the  Centre for timely action.According to reliable information gathered from various quarters, the intelligence sleuths have suggested that Maoists are occupying hostel rooms and are providing the students with literature and training to intensify their agitation.

 In fact, the Maoists are training the students as to how they should face the media.The harsh words and the abuses hurled by these leaders during the `Vidyarthi Garjana’ on Jan 3 is ample proof of the presence of Maoists on the OU campus, the sources observed.The report added that even political leaders like Damodar Reddy hinted that the Telangana students would turn Maoists if Telangana statehood is denied to them.

Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K Chandrasekhar Rao’s statement that the students would resort to armed struggle for a separate Telangana is an indicator pointing to the influence of  Maoists, the report explained.It remains to be seen as to how the UPA government will respond to the reports furnished by the intelligence wing.
