Sonia declare New Year gift to Telangana.

This is an expected move from Congress Central High Command, but a bit quicker. As per the reports from New Delhi, Home Ministry is keeping its word which was declared on 23rd of this month related to “wide range consultations” for formation of Telangana.

Home Minister Chidambaram is known to have sent officially the invitation letters to 8 recognised political parties in Andhra Pradesh TDP, Congress, TRS, Praja Rajyam, CPI, CPM, BJP and MIM and a meeting will be convened on 5th January 2010 that is Tuesday in New Delhi with leaders of all these parties. The discussions on board with these political leaders of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana issue may mostly be finalized with in the month of January or February, say few reports.

Following the statement issued on 23rd of December, it is proposed to convene a meeting with the above mentioned 8 political parties. Centre has expressed the satisfaction with peaceful bandh that went off today.

With this call from Central High Command, Government has stood on both of its statements about “initiation of process” and about “wide range consultations.” T-JAC, Osmania students JAC have expressed their happiness for the Central Government's move with respect to the talks.
