Telangana BJP senior leader N Indrasena Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the Telangana Government was planning to pass the annual budget through an ordinance.

Speaking to media persons at the State BJP office here, Indrasena Reddy said that the TRS Government was reportedly considering passing the State's budget through an ordinance. He said that the State Government was not empowered to so and it would be a straight violation of the constitution if such a step is taken. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was afraid of facing the opposition in view of his failures during the last three months in power. Therefore, KCR is seeking an escape route to avoid facing opposition parties.

Indrasena Reddy alleged that KCR has been giving new twists to the issue of farm loans waiver and fee reimbursement.

The BJP leader also alleged that there were no Vice-Chancellors, Syndicates or Boards in five universities in the State. Although many universities were facing shortage of funds, neither the Chief Minister nor Education Minister is in a position to address those issues. He said instead of concentrating on subjects of immediate importance, the State Government undertook a futile exercise like the Household Survey. He said the employees and students, who played a key role in formation Telangana, were upset with the functioning of the TRS Government.
