Allu Arvind holds discussions with Devender Goud

Hyderabad, July 29 :-

   Allu Arvind , general secretary of Praja Rajyam Party had  a meeting  with senior leader Devender Goud here on Wednesday. The meeting was of significant importance   in view of the rumors that Devender Goud will be leaving  PRR to join his native party the Telugu Desam. What transpired between the two leaders was not revealed.

When media persons  approached Devender Goud asking him to clarify the rumors regarding his shifting of loyalties, he said `` it is a fact  that I met Chandrababu Naidu, but it is only in connection with the Greater Hyderabad Municpal elections.’’    ``I am a seasoned politician , I know what  to do,’’ he further added.

PRP chief, cine actor- turned politician  Chiranjeevi denied  reports that  Devender Goud  will be leaving PRP to  join  the Telugu Desam.  He said that  the reports appearing in the media are not true. It is Devender Goud who had charted out the  agitation plan against Babli  project in Maharashtra on behalf of the  PRP.

According to reliable sources  Devender Goud  had a secret meeting with TDP leader  N Chandrababu Naidu in the latter’s residence. Peddi Reddy acted as the mediator  between the two.

It was Chandrababu Naidu’s strategy to  rope in as many as  former TDP leaders from  PRP  before the Greater  Hyderabad Municiapal elections and he seems to be  successful to some extent.

Meanwhile  Nagam  Janardhana Reddy, a senior leader of TDP said that  he will  nor be an obstacle for Devender Goud’s return to the TDP. ``In fact I will be the first person to invite all the former TDP leaders back into TDP.
