Mysore,Oct 31: In an open accusation, the Karnataka Minister for Law and Legislative Affairs, Mr Suresh Kumar, on Saturday accused the Bellary Reddy brothers of indulging in blackmailing tactics and pushing Karnataka into crisis, thereby, halting the developmental and relief works in the State.“The most unfortunate scenes are being witnessed. It is sorrow state-of-affairs. What is disheartening is individual interests of certain Ministers are overruling the State’s interest. People have kept faith in the BJP under the leadership Mr B S Yeddyurappa and we have to act responsibly,” Mr Suresh Kumar told media persons here taking a dig at Bellary mine barons.

The Law Minister ruled out the change of guard in the State. Mr B.S. Yeddyurappa will continue to hold the mantle and will be in the Chief Minister’s post, he said.Series of deliberations were held on the demands of the rebellion group. The BJP senior national leader and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mr Arun Jaitley, has categorically rejected the change in leadership and instead proposed a compromise formula to be evolved considering few demands of rebellion group, he pointed out.“The BJP central leadership is closely monitoring the situation. An amicable solution is expected to be evolved in the next 48 hours. The rebellion camp should understand that there are lot many issues to be addressed. The rehabilitation works for flood affected in North-Karnataka should be on top of the agenda,” Mr Suresh Kumar added.
