Telugu Desam Party's Krishna district president Devineni Umamaheswara Rao on Monday alleged that suspended Telugu Desam Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani accepted a bribe of Rs 30 crore offered by YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy.

Talking to media persons at Ntr Trust Bhavan after attending a meeting convened by party president N Chandrababu Naidu with the Krishna district leaders, Umamaheswara Rao charged that Kodali Nani colluded with Jagan and back-stabbed TDP to get monetary benefits. Stating that the people of the constituency would not forgive Nani for his act, he said that they would teach him a fitting lesson at an appropriate time.

Umameheshwara Rao demanded that the party bar those, who indulge in anti-party activities for five years from the elections. At a time when the party is fighting against corruption, he said that Kodali Nani joined hands with "corrupt" Jaganmohan Reddy which would send a wrong message among people.
