Hyderabad,Oct 21: The ruling Congress party is trying to weaken Opposition parties in the state by foisting false cases against them, alleged Opposition Leader and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu here on Wednesday.Talking to media persons after administering oath of secrecy to the newly appointed executive body at the NTR Trust Bhavan, Naidu said that the ruling party has totally failed in taking relief and rehabilitation works in the flood affected areas. The executive body observed two minutes silence for those who died in recent floods.He alleged that the ruling party Ministers and MLAs are blaming each other and miserably failed in taking relief operations.Commending the NGOs and voluntary body services in executing relief operations, the former chief minister said that the TDP played a constructive role at the critical time and party  volunteers came forward voluntarily to take up relief works in flood ravaged areas.

To strengthen the party at grassroot level, Naidu said that he would devote more time to interact with party cadre.Defending the party MLA Seeta Dayakar Reddy, he alleged that a political conspiracy was being hatched to involve her in the suicide committed by B Rajeswari, Devarakadra agriculture officer.He said that Ministers hailing from the district were behind the conspiracy.Nandamuri Harikrishna gave a cheque for Rs 30 lakh from MPs funds to take up relief operations in flood-hit areas.But, MLA Seeta Dayakar Reddy, Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Kadiyam Srihari and Harishwara Reddy did not turn up for the programme.
