Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday raised serious objection over the YSR Congress leaders politicizing the telephone calls made by reporters to the CBI Joint Director V V Lakshmi Narayana.

Talking to the media persons on his way to Lakshmipet in Srikakulam, where five Dalits killed in massacre over land dispute, Naidu said that politicising of the telephone calls made by media men to Lakshmi Narayana was highly objectionable and improper.

He said that it was reporters duty to talk to the CBI chief and other investigation officials as part of getting information.

He alleged that the Jagan group was trying to hurl mud at all sections out of desperation and frustration.

He also dismissed the allegations made by Kola Krishna Mohan that he held several bank accounts abroad and stashed away thousands of crores of rupees.

Later, the TDP chief visited the family members of Papaiah, at Rajam in Srikakulam district, who was one of the victim killed in Lakshmipet violence and consoled their family members.

Naidu blamed the state government’s apathy was responsible for the massacre of five Dalit persons.

He demanded the government order a judicial inquiry into the incident and help the families of victims. He described the government ordering CID probe into the incident as an `eye wash’ and demanded the arrest of former mandal president Botsa vasudeva Naidu, who was master mind behind the murder.

Naidu demanded the government to pay an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh to next to kin of family members and sanction three acres land as part of compensation.

Naidu said that his party would raise the issue in the Assembly session and seek justice for victims.
