Hyderabad,Oct 14: The much-awaited Congress Legislature Party meeting is likely to take place anytime after Diwali and the Congress rank and file are  anxious to know who will be the CLP leader.Minister for municipal administration Anam Ramnarayana Reddy interacting with the  media  here on Wednesday  said  that  there would be no election of leader at the CLP meeting. The election of the leader would entirely be the choice of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

“It is wholly left to her choice whether she would like  to continue with the present set up or make Jaganmohan Reddy as the CLP leader.The plea to make Jaganmohan Reddy as CM is still pending with her,” he said.Meanwhile it is learnt  that some senior Congress leaders  in the state are making every effort to see to it that Jaganmohan Reddy’s name  will not  figure in the chief minster’s candidature list.The  senior  leaders are rallying  behind  K Rosaiah.
