The Congress leader charged that a few students have committed suicide unable to continue their studies in the private colleges as government failed to reimburse their fees.

The farmers’ leader said that Mr Jaganmohan Reddy will also visit the residences of engineering student Vara Laxmi, who committed suicide unable to continue her studies, and enquire about the family members.

Vara Laxmi, a B Tech student has committed suicide because of her inability to continue with her education due to the non-release of reimbursement, Mr Ramachandra Rao alleged. However, the police maintain that the B Tech student was killed by fire due to a gas leak.
