Kadapa MP and late chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will become next chief minister of the state if the Congress high command thinks that he is capable for post.
According to the late chief minister's confidante K V P Ramachandra Rao, Jagan would follow the directions of Congress high command. "Whatever the high command tells, Jangan has to obey it," he added. As loyalists are keen on making Reddy's son as the chief minister and speculations are rising on succession issue, the Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao had discussions with Minister for Rural Development Vatti Vasanthkumar and former chairman of Tirumala
Tirupati Devasthanams B Karunakara Reddy.He briefed them on the latest stock of political situation and deliberations he had with prime minister Manmohan Singh, AICC chief Sonia Gandhi and others. The High Command summoned K V P Ramachandra Rao to New Delhi on Friday to discuss on the succession issue.
