Vijay inexperience delaying his CM ceremony. Many expected a smooth sailing for Vijay and his party TVK to form the government after they emerged as the single latest party even though it fell short of ten seats of simple majority.

But Tamil Nadu Governor Vishwanath Arlekar shocked Vijay when he met and submitted the support he has to form the government. Governor asked Vijay to come up with the requisite number of 118 before he could invite him to form the government.

Now, many feel that Vijay's inexperience came to the fore. Many felt that Vijay met the Governor and submitted him the support of his 108 MLAs along with the Congress' MLAs. Analysts feel that they feel that had Vijay met Governor and staked claim just by submitting his 108 MLAs support, Governor would have invited him to form the government as the single largest party.

But with Vijay submitting the support of 5 Congress MLAs, Governor asked Vijay to get the support of all the 118 MLAs as it happens to be the post poll alliance.
