The Winter Session Of Assembly will begin on Friday under the leadership of Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar.

The Legislative Business Advisory Committee on Thursday met under the Chairmanship of Mr Manohar at Assembly Hall to discuss the issues and introduction of Bills in the House.

The Committee decided to conduct the session for six days and the House will function on Saturday also.

The Committee also took a decision to cancel the Question Hour on the first day of convention.

Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy will make an announcement on lifting of police cases against students and others, who took part in the statehood agitation across the state.

The Session will also discuss the rescue and relief operations to be taken up in the rain affected districts and loss occurred to agricultural produce and human lives.

The government will also introduce a bill on Microfinance Institutions in the House.

The BAC meeting was attended by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Telugu Desam Party leaders Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi, MLAs of Left parties, MIM and Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker directed the police to make tight security on Assembly premises to prevent untoward incidents.
