Forest Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, Panchyatraj Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Housing Minister Shilpa Mohan Reddy, Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmiah, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Jupally Krishna Rao among others attended the meeting.

The state government had on Friday postponed the tests indefinitely following vehement opposition from students of Osmania University who stated that if the recruitment tests went ahead as scheduled, interests of aspirants from Hyderabad will be harmed since the city has been declared a Free Zone through a Presidential Order.

The students, with the backing of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi demanded the deletion of Clause 14 (F) before the tests are held.
