PM Modi lost the golden opportunity with Operation Sindoor. Finally, India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire, as Pakistan after all the pummelling it received and the US pressure vis a vis IMF loan, came crying for some way-out of the dangerous situation it found itself in.

Now that Indian government headed by PM Modi agreed for a ceasefire, the question is whether PM Modi emerged victorious with Operation Sindoor. Before giving green signal to Operation Sindoor to the Armed Forces, PM Modi thundered that wherever the dreaded terrorists of the Pahalgam massacre and their perpetrators and also those supporting them will be eliminated by their roots.

While many are welcoming the ceasefire, common people got surprised and shocked at the abrupt call for ceasefire. To the top of it, Indian government went on record that no pre and post conditions were set for the ceasefire. People are questioning what PM Modi and the Indian government achieved with Operation Sindoor.

It is true that Indian army decimated the terror hideouts in Pakistan and also its AWACS, launch pads, airbases at Lahore, Karachi, Sialkot and Islamabad. It left former army officers of Pakistan and also politicians crying for help. India also said that any act of terror will be considered act of war.

But in any operation, people see for tangible and intangible gains.

India's military achievements are tangible for all to see. Entire world came to know the military power and how it decimated Pakistan.

But PM Modi thundered that the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack will be eliminated. People will question where are those terrorists and what happened to them. In that way many feel PM Modi failed.

They also question what PM Modi achieved with Operation Sindoor. People point that while the then PM Indira Gandhi created Bangladesh, another PM Lal Bahadur Shastri made Pakistan run for cover. They say PM Modi failed in those fronts as he failed to take over even the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or break Pakistan into four pieces and create separate Balochistan.

Within hours of ceasefire announcement, Pakistan violated it and this shows Pakistan is never sincere in its promises. Under these circumstances how can people believe Pakistan. It just called ceasefire as IMF put a pre condition to back off to get billion dollar loan.

BJP and PM Modi always say that former PMs Jawahar Lal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi gave away India's military advantages which it won through war to Pakistan without any pre conditions and now people are accusing PM Modi what he gained by agreeing for unilateral ceasefire and is he not parting away the military advantage gained by Operation Sindoor to Pakistan. Many feel that for all the talk and chest thumping of Operation Sindoor, Indian government failed to deliver the knockout punch to Pakistan.
