East Godavari district Praja Rajyam Party president J Nehru on Friday said that the Telugu Desam Party leaders should look back on their term in office before critisizing PRP president K Chiranjeevi.
Talking to media persons at the party office, Mr Nehru criticised TDP leader Rama Krishnan his statements in which he said that the PRP chief was in a ‘hurry-burry’ while taking out his Praja Chaitanya Yatra.
The PRP leader said that Mr Chiranjeevi was getting to know of people’s problems through the Praja Chaitanya Yatra and then taking up these issues with the Chief Minister in an effort to solve them.
Mr Nehru said that the Praja Chaitanya Yatra was meant to make the people aware of their issues and to fight for getting justice for the Girijans in the state.
He said that the State government had allotted 166 acre land to the Girijan community, but the same land was allotted to Emaar Properties by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, despite protests.
