In an attempt to dispel any misconceptions in the minds of industrialists that there would be no hurdles in the path of growth and development in the event of formation of the Telangana state, Telangana Rashtra Samiti MLA K Taraka Rama Rao on Wednesday stated that the new government would make efforts to compete with other states in the establishment of industries in the state.

Talking to media persons after participating in an interaction programme organized at Taj Krishna Hotel, Banjara Hills by the Forum of Chief Executive Officers, International Market Assessment, KTR said that the party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao had appealed to all industrialists to focus on industrial development centered around Hyderabad city.
