CBN, Lokesh comments on Pawan denting alliance prospects?.The TDP and Jana Sena are strategically aligning themselves to challenge the ruling YSRCP and the influential Chief Minister Jagan in the upcoming 2024 elections. The alliance, led by TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, is navigating the sensitive issue of the chief ministerial position with caution.

While it's evident that, as the major partner, Chandra Babu is poised to assume the CM role if the alliance secures victory, Pawan Kalyan is assuring his cadre that discussions about the CM post will occur post-election results. Despite this, Chandra Babu, in various public meetings, has asserted that he will take charge as CM within the next three to four months. Similarly, Lokesh, his son, echoed this sentiment, stating that Chandra Babu will assume the CM role after three months.

When questioned about the possibility of offering the Deputy CM post to Pawan Kalyan, Chandra Babu responded that such decisions would be made after discussions within the TDP and Jana Sena politburo.

This stance has irked Jana Sainiks, who are expressing frustration, questioning why Lokesh would defer discussion on the CM post to the politburo but not extend the same courtesy to the Deputy CM post. The perception among Jana Sainiks is that Chandra Babu and Lokesh are using Pawan as a disposable tool, equating him to a tissue paper. In response to this perceived disregard, some Jana Sainiks are expressing disillusionment and suggesting alternative actions, such as voting for either NOTA or Jagan's YSRCP in protest.

The dynamics of this alliance and the speculation around key leadership roles are creating tensions within the partner parties, reflecting the intricacies of political alliances and the challenge of managing expectations among diverse supporter bases.
