Exhibitors And Leasers Association Protest Against Liger Loses

Puri Jagannadh has lost all his sheen with Liger debacle. Though he had seen many disasters in his career and bounced back, this Vijay Deverakonda starrer has given him a rude shock. He also produced the film along with Charmme under PC Connects. The film was sold for high rates and ever since it's release in August, last year buyers are asking for compensation as they lost heavily. Today also distributors started relay protests seeking refund of Liger losses.

It has been already reported that distributors decided to protest before Puri Jagannadh 's house at Hyderabad. But, Puri filed a complaint in Police Station against the protest at his house. Then IT department probed into illegal investments in the film. In this regard Puri Jagannad, Charmmee and Vijay Deverakonda attended the enquiry.

Latest news is that Puri Jagannadh has moved on to his next project with Ram. An official annoucnement in this regard is expected to come out on 15th May, Ram's Birthday. Amidst of this news, exhibitors started relay protest at the film chamber in Hyderabad demanding compensation for their losses. The exhibitors and leasers association has been conducting the protest. 

Liger was released on August 25th, 2022 and opened to poor reviews. The film bombed at boxoffice resulting as one of the biggest loses for the parties involved. Ananya Pandey paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda for the film.
