IIHB TIARA survey: Most Trusted Celebrities in South India

Indian Institute of Human Brands (IIHB) conducted a survey among celebrities to find out whose brand enjoys the TIARA aspects. As such from the south, star actor Suriya Sivakumar topped the list winning the title IIMost Trusted, Most Attractive, Most Respected, and Most appealing celebrity.

IIHB for its survey considered 6 popular stars from Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, and Sandalwood and selected a sample size of 5,246 respondents from the four southern states. While Suriya ruled the survey, Allu Arjun followed him closely in the trust aspect.

Suriya left all other stars way behind with a score of 84 in the overall TIARA rankings (Trust, Identify, Attractiveness, Respect, and Appeal). Allu Arjun got a score of 79 in the trust aspects. According to the survey findings, from Tollywood Allu Arjun and Vijay Devarakonda, from Kollywood Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan, from Mollywood Fahadh Faasil and Sandalwood Kicha Sudeep led the race.

Amitabh Bachchan topped the all-India list as the most trusted. Ayushman Khurana is the most identified celebrity while Alia Bhatt is the most attractive celebrity. Akshay Kumar is India's most appealing. Dr Sandeep Goel, Chief Mentor of IIHB says “The current study looks at only male stars from the South. We have not included the ladies purely because it then tends to skew the comparisons and apples can no longer be compared with apples”.

Here are the TIARA findings.

Suriya has emerged as the No. 1 celebrity in South India, topping the scores for being trustworthy (84), most identified with (84), attractive (85), respected (86) and appealing (81).

Most Trusted : Suriya (84), Allu Arjun (79)

Most Attractive :  Allu Arjun got (80) and Vijay Devarakonda (72). Vijay was No. 1 in Kollywood while Dulquer Salmaan led in Mollywood and Sandalwood.

Most Identified : Prabhas got a score of (79) and Ram Charan (74), Kollywood’s Vijay (79) and Vijay Setupathi (77). Yash (76) and Prithviraj (72) were leading in Mollywood and Sandalwood.

Most Respected :  Mahesh Babu followed Suriya at (78) and Junior NTR (75) led in Tollywood while Ajith (78) and Sivakarthikeyn (76) took the podium positions in Kollywood. Yash (77) was the leader in Mollywood and Sandalwood with Kiccha Sudeep (69) in second place.

Most Appealing : Prabhas, Vijay and Dulquer topped Tollywood, Kollywood.
