Paper Boy Is Not A Small Film: Sukumar

Director Sukumar was one of the chief guests at Paper Boy Pre-Release Event. The director has all praises for writer-producer Sampath Nandi, hero Santosh Shobhan and director Jaya Shankar. He stated that, Paper Boy is not a small film.

“Sampath Nandi is a close friend of my dear friend Vema Reddy (writer and Chakkiligintha movie director). Vema Reddy has watched the film and narrated me the love story and emotional scenes in it. I was very much impressed. However, I was worried, how this small time movie will reach to the audience. Thanks to Allu Aravind gaaru for encouraging a small film. I like Sampath Nandi’s first film Emaindi Ee Vela a lot. I liked his contemporary thoughts. I appreciate him for turning producer to encourage fresh talent.”

Sukumar also lauded hero Santosh Shobhan for his performance. “One shot in trailer is enough to tell how good performer you are. You are too good in that particular emotional scene. It is a proud feeling that you are son of a director (Shobhan),” said Sukumar adding Paper Boy is not a small film because it has top-notch technicians like Soundar Rajan handling cinematography, Bheems scoring music, Chandrabose and Ramajogayya Sastry penning lyrics and art direction by Rajeev Nair.
