While the overall pre sales look impressive, ticket pricing appears to be affecting occupancy in major Hindi markets.The Hindi version leads with ₹35.33 crore gross at an average ticket price of ₹442, but occupancy remains at just 19.1%. In comparison, Kannada has recorded ₹5.07 crore at 33.3% occupancy, while Telugu has collected ₹4.22 crore at ₹189 ATP with 28.1% occupancy. Tamil and Malayalam have also reported better occupancy than Hindi.The regional trend is equally interesting, with Karnataka leading state collections at ₹8.39 crore and 32.8% occupancy. Kuchipudi, Jan 12: The three-day Siddendra Yogi Mahotsav 2010 will be held on Jan 26 to mark the birth anniversary of Siddendra Yogi in Kuchipudi, 50 km away from Vijayawada in the Krishna district.According to the Department of Cultural Affairs Chief Secretary S Challappa, Chief Minister K Rosaiah will formally inaugurate the Kuchipudi dance festival on Jan 26.Talking to newsmen on Tuesday after reviewing the arrangements for organizing the festival with officials concerned, he said 100 danseuses will perform at `Siddhendra Yogi Natya Kalapeetha&rsquo; built for the purpose.&ldquo;Earlier, the festival is observed at different times of the year.

However, a couple of scenes and twists looked unconvincing. Except for a few scenes here and there, everything turns lackluster. The climax ends on a disappointing and weak note with no real face off.Sushin Shyam failed completely with his music. However, he came up with a breezy and groovy background music to elevate the scenes. His innovative background score added a quirky look to the proceedings.Vineeth Augustin with his Cinematography elevated the tone and tenor of the film's genre. Ajmal Sabu's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. He left many dragging scenes unattended in the second half which resulted in a tedious watch. He showed his acting talent showing variations in his body language and screen presence. He showed the required seriousness in his role during the investigation and while following orders from the higherups. &nbsp;He delivered dialogues highlighting the emotions with his expressions. Charu Vaken impressed with his performance in the final episodes.Banerjee is good in the role of the higher up. Shravani Reddy is good in her role. However Anji's character is not shown in the most interesting manner. He tried to excite all with the crime thriller. The first four episodes progress in a interesting and exciting manner. He designed the character of Naresh Agasthya. The happenings involving the character of Anji is good. But these things could have been shown in the more impactful manner.Sasidhar Munnangi the loses plot in the last three episodes diluting the intensity levels. Had these scenes designed in &nbsp;an interesting manner, things would have been different. The more subplots as the investigation progresses resulted in the decrease of interest leves as it resulted in confusion all over. It turned out to be a mixed bag with few scenes getting dragged unnecessarily and some scenes ending rather abruptly.Many murder mysteries came with such plot and very few of them are engaging. Rudravanam PS also fails to engage. The first four episodes though interesting are dragged showing the restlessness in the police force and the story do not head anywhere. The entire story is narrated in the last two episodes and the &nbsp;motive of the culprit is shown in the last episode and this is little interesting. However, even that pales due to the weak motive.Ashkar Ali with his cinematography showed the rural village atmosphere in the natural and realistic manner. However Madhav's editing should have been &nbsp;more sharper as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. The background music of Saluri Vasu Rao is good and added value to the narration. For all his efforts, though the characterisation of Naresh Agasthya's role appeals, everything goes missing. The story lacked the emotional connect with things passing through the motions and screenplay turning spineless and stale without offering nothing much to excite. Little finetuning of the script and racy screenplay and powerful emotions would have added more punch to the story. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Rudravanam PS.

Akka (2026) Web Series: StoryAkka is set in the 1980s in Pernuru, a fictional South Indian kingdom ruled by women for generations. The society follows its own traditions, with women holding power and men having a limited role in the kingdom's affairs. Bhavani (Keerthy Suresh) is the powerful matriarch who controls the kingdom and tries to protect its traditions and authority.However, her world gets disturbed when Rudra (Radhika Apte), an outsider with a personal vendetta, enters Pernuru with plans to take control. What follows is a violent battle involving power, revenge, betrayals and family rivalries. How Bhavani handles the threat and what happens to the kingdom form the rest of the story.Akka Web Series: PerformancesKeerthy Suresh gets a strong character in Bhavani, but the writing does not give her enough emotional depth to make the role memorable. She manages to bring some authority to the character, although the overall impact remains limited.Radhika Apte gets an interesting role as Rudra, but her characterisation and dialogue delivery do not create the desired impact. Tanvi Azmi and Monika Panwar have their moments, while Mahesh Manjrekar, Anshuman Pushkar, Vishak Nair and the rest of the supporting cast have limited scope to make an impression.Akka Web Series: AnalysisAkka starts with an interesting premise. Both Bhavani and Rudra are introduced as powerful women, but their motivations and emotional journeys are not explored effectively. Several subplots occupy considerable screen time without adding much value to the central conflict.The series also relies heavily on violence and grand visuals to create an impression. However, the action sequences lack the impact required to elevate the drama. The end of the first half sets the stage for the second half. Couple of twists in the second half turnout to be ok but many scenes in the second half turned repetitive and routine. The college happenings &nbsp;are shown in a natural way though it did not add much value to the proceedings.The screenplay turns racy once the protagonist experiences the scary happenings. In the first half, her scenes with Vijay are heartwarming, they give you that light feel in such a heavy film. The film keeps showing back to back suffering, battles and grief. After a point, it feel choked. We can feel the suffering more than the heroism, because the heroic payoffs don't elevate mainly due to lack of pulsating BGM. With a runtime of almost 2 hours 58 minutes, it feels stretched.Technically, the film is rich. Cinematography by Jishnu Bhattacharjee, and Nirav Shah is one of the biggest assets, it beautifully captures the dry lands, forts and villages of 19th century Rayalaseema. Production design needs a special mention. Except for a few hill portions, you won't feel it's a set, it looks like a real location. Costumes and art department have done a great job. Where the film slips badly is music. Except for Melody song between Vijay and Rashmika, no other song registers. For a film of this scale, it is expected a thundering BGM to lift those elevation scenes. But the score by Ajay - Atul duo lacks that power. That's why even well shot heroic moments and heavy emotional scenes don't give you goosebumps. If those painful scenes had ended with a strong high, the impact would have been much better. Kavitha, daughter of KCR and leader of Telangana Jaagruthi gas once again arranged a media meet in her house few minutes ago to highlight the necessity of banning of ‘Adurs’ in Telangana. As per Kavitha, Producers of the ‘Adurs’ movie Vallabhaneni Vamsimohan and Kodali Nani are strong leaders in Andhra region who have declared their anti-Telangana stand few days ago by expressing their solidarity for Lagadapati rajagopal's deeksha. Release of ‘Adurs’ and huge collections from Telangana region will once again be diverted to work on the movement that is against Telangana state formation. In order to stop all these anti-Telangana moves, it would be better to ban the movie in this region, Kavitha said.
