Ashim Ahluwalia, man behind this movie has initially approached Censor Board one year ago to get 157 cuts recommended. Later, ‘Miss Lovely’ passed through four Review Committees to get out with 20 to 30 major cuts.

‘Any movie till date in Indian cinema has gone through a review four times. 157 cuts means, it was like killing the film and there is no point in showing it to public or releasing the movie. As per the recommendation from CBFC, foul language cuts were removed. When the characters in film are C grade film producers, they are ought to speak foul and not the family language. For the most part I am quite satisfied and planning for a small release not the massive ones because I just wanted to take the movie to right audience,’ Ahluwalia said.
