Promotion of a movie, nowadays, is as tough task as making it. We have been hearing the projected collections of Telugu movies by their makers, for the past few years. Especially, in the beginning days such as first day, first week, second week etc. they are adding some fake collections. Is this 'fake' trend restricted to Tollywood only? "Certainly not  and in fact, our fakes are just nothing when comparing the fake collections and remunerations of kollywood heroes," say a Telugu film analyst.

"We have heard Rajinikanth's 'Robo' collected Rs.500 crores in some of the media. In fact, the movie's collections( shares) are just around Rs.150 crores including all the languages and all the areas. Recently, one of the kollywood producers announced that he would be ready to offer Rs.240 crores for Rajnikanth. This is an extreme step of exaggeration. If it really happens, the movie's total budget would be more than that of Rs.500 crores. We can even make a hollywood movie with this budget. It is also heard that hero Suriya was offered Rs.30 crores remuneration for his latest movie 'Brothers' for Telugu and Tamil languages. Sensibly, Suriya straightaway lashed out these gossips as he knows it is ridiculous to make the people to believe these false figures. Anyways, learning these facts, Tollywood fakes are nothing when comparing with kollywood's," say the analysts.
