Director Digging on Silk's Original History

Kannada director Trishul says that, ‘The Dirty Picture’ hailed as a biopic on yesteryear sex siren Silk Smitha did not completely incorporate the key aspects of her life. Now, he is all set to begin the first ever South biopic on Silk titled as ‘The Dirty Picture - Silk Sakkath Maga.’ Heroine will be none other than Pakistani sex bomb Veena Malik to reprise the character of Vidya Balan portraying Silk Smitha.   

Trishul said, ‘The super sexy image of Silk was at peak during mid eighties. An apple half eaten by Silk was sold for Rs.1 Lakh through an auction. The characterization done in ‘The Dirty Picture’ was away from silk’s originality. We will go in more realistic way showcasing Silk as egoistic with self respect above her heroes. I got Veena’s dates few days ago paying Rs.1 Crore for the total film. Skimpy bikinis, lip kisses, erotic scenes will be well a part of my film.’ So, the Southern version of ‘The Dirty Picture’ is going to be much dirtier.
