Why Ramayana is releasing earlier in Overseas

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash's Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari is releasing in two parts and the first part on Diwali 2026 and second on Diwali 2027.
In the meantime, it is coming out that the film will be releasing two days earlier in Overseas. Now this is surprising all and producer Namit Malhotra shared why the film is releasing in such a way.
He said “So we are releasing internationally on November 6. The international distribution works from a Friday standpoint, so that’s why it’s releasing on the 6th of November. But in India, we are currently targeting the Diwali release.”
Namit Malhotra shared “The aspiration behind Ramayana is not for the sake of an Academy Award. That being said, having our work celebrated and showcased at a premier institution that looks at all the top creatives of the world, it would be nothing short of a great moment for India,”
Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and others are playing important roles in the film.
