Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has grossed ₹100.38cr in India within six days, becoming only the 21st Hollywood film to hit the milestone. The Matt Damon-led epic is also Nolan’s second film after Oppenheimer to enter the ₹100cr club, despite a normal weekday dip.

The film opened at ₹17.4cr net on July 17 and grew over the weekend to ₹61.3cr net. On day 6, Wednesday, it earned ₹6.5cr net across 8,268 shows. That’s a 22.2% drop from Tuesday’s ₹8.35cr, driven by strong IMAX occupancy and positive word-of-mouth.

The English version dominates with around ₹66.55cr of the ₹84.15cr net total so far. Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbed versions added under ₹20cr combined. Premium formats and Nolan’s brand helped sustain collections despite midweek slowdown in multiplexes across metros.

Based on Homer’s Greek epic, The Odyssey features Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron and Zendaya. Universal’s global push and IMAX screens boosted India numbers. Trade analysts expect it to hold well through the second weekend.
