Arya Revealed Why His Scenes Deleted From Karuppu

Tamil actor Arya spoke about why his scenes were removed from the hit film Karuppu. He said he played a small cameo as an experiment in the movie. After watching the full edit, director RJ Balaji told Arya that the scenes did not fit the flow of the story. So the team decided to delete them during post production.

Arya took it in a positive way and said he understood the decision. He also said he and RJ Balaji will work together again in a new project soon. Editor Kalaivanan shared that Arya was not the only one whose scenes were cut. The team also removed short cameos of 20 to 30 seconds to keep the film fast and clear. These included a reference to GOAT and a small appearance by Doctor actors Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshmanan. RJ Balaji planned Karuppu as a tight superhero story and wanted every shot to serve the main plot.

The editor said no big changes were made to the footage, only small trims. This careful editing helped the movie hold audience attention and get praise for its pace. Fans now wait to see Arya and RJ Balaji join hands again in a future film with a full role.
