The story though routine gets creative with the songs.While this increases the curiosity levels, the overdoing of this ends up testing the patience of the viewers. Viewers are left to wonder when this ends.The music for the film is tuned by Devi Sri Prasad. It is difficult to score music with day to day words but he did full justice and lived upto the task. Sobhan did full justice to all the departments he handled.Pradeep Maddali highlighted how people of Godavari districts take rooster fights as a prestige issue and how few anti social elements take advantage of the gambling. He ensured that the narration doesnot turn into completely serious tone but told in a entertaining manner.The webseries has six episodes and the first episode starts with the introduction of lead actors and the missing of the rooster. The nnarration takes entertaining route with the investigation. All the investigation, scene recreation and others have been written in a funny manner.However, some scenes got repeated and this slowed the pace of the narration, diluting the tempo. Some scenes looked forced and some are not brought to the logical conclusion. One gets a feeling that there could have been few thrillinng scenes while revealing the antagonist. While the first two episodes are hilarious and is narrated at a fast pace, the third episode slows the proceedings.Fourth episode turns the story interesting before the &nbsp;runup to the climax.The music of Saket Komanduri is pleasant ad appealing. The interval twist sets the tone for the second half. The pace picks up in the second half but the so called twists can be easily predicted.The music for the film is tuned by Ilayaraja. He came up with a simple story of how a family tries to protect themselves when on attack from dreaded gangsters. Many such films came earlier but Subhash K Raj narrated it in a different manner trying to send message to the society.He showed father training his daughter to be brave and not to tolerate any injustice not only to the family but others in the society despite mother expressing her own fears. He also highlighted the importance of martial arts and how it will be helpful as a self defence system.He started the narration in &nbsp;a gripping manner and then the narration and screenplay turns racy throughout the first half. The first half ends in a decent manner setting the stage for the second half. The second half also treads in a similar manner but pace dips at times and due to few repetitive and dragged scenes. The climax too turns out to be weak.Arun Radhakrishnan's cinematography is good. He used the camera angles and color combinations to perfection do give a natural and realistic feel. Ravi Basrur's background music is impactful and added value to the narration. The editing of Pradeep E Ragav is decent enough except for few drags here and there and repetitive scenes. Dialogues are thoughprovoking, inspirational and motivational. He highlighted the darker side of the happenings in the lives of many women as many find it difficult to come forward and talk openly in public.The story offered nothing much but Pranav Swaroop penned the story highlighting the characterisation of pyschopath and it may appeal only to few.Shrie Saikumaar Daara with his cinematography gave a natural and realistic feel to the proceedings. The entire first half is loaded with the fights between husband and wife and the happenings between the friends and court scenes. All those things are routine and few hilarious scenes are just ok though they are nothing new.The first half ends with the revelation of the secrets of the protagonists and the entire second half is all about them proving their innocence. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. He tried to load the second half with intense emotions but failed to do full justice to them.He ended few roles abruptly and didnot justify few characters in the film. Climax twist is decent &nbsp;to some extent.Satish Muthyala's cinematography is good. Shrawan Bharadwaj's music is just ok and so is the background music. Editing of Koti left a lot to be desired. But the routine shades and slow pace ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The entire second half is loaded with emotional content. The twist in the pre climax is good and the climax turns out to be emotional.There are many unnecessary scenes that defies logic and also the conflict is not shown in &nbsp;a convincing manner. The relationship and connection to four kids and the granny is not shown properly.Aravind Thirukovela with his cinematography turned the scenes colorful and visually appealing on the screen. Sooraj S Kurup's songs are just average. He however made up for it with his background music adding value to the narration. Ram Jagadeesh's dialogues are relevant, interesting and motivational. Editing of Raviteja Giriala left a lot to be desired. Though the film's duration is less, the editing made it feel like the film is never ending. Ram Charan’s Peddi is running strong in theatres even after 11 days. The rural sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana is getting great response from family audiences and fans. Despite some mixed reviews, the film has kept its ticket sales high and shows no sign of slowing down. By the end of second Sunday on June 15 2026, Peddi collected Rs 393 crore gross worldwide.It has already become the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2026. Trade experts say Rs 400 crore mark is now very close and the film can add more records in the coming days. Makers are also planning to add new scenes from Wednesday, which may bring more people to theatres.Peddi is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas along with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, Jagapathi Babu and Boman Irani in key roles. Shruti Haasan appears in a special dance number. Music by AR Rahman is getting a lot of praise and his songs plus background score are helping the film connect with viewers.The film opened with Rs 292 crore in first four days and crossed Rs 366 crore in nine days. Strong weekend collections in both Telugu states and overseas markets kept the momentum going.
