RanaBaali Shoot Moves Fast At Gandikota Fort With Vijay Deverakonda

The period film Ranabali is being shot at a fast pace. Top hero Vijay Deverakonda plays the lead role. Rahul Sankrityan is the director. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film on a big budget. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. The story is set in Rayalaseema in the 19th century. Vijay Deverakonda plays a brave warrior who fights the British rule. His role is strong and full of action. The team built huge sets to show the old era.

Vijay Deverakonda took special training for this role. He learned horse riding and sword fighting for many months. Fight masters from Mumbai and Hyderabad trained him daily. He also changed his body and grew a long beard for the warrior look. The film shows big war scenes and emotional drama. The director wants every frame to look real and grand. Music is by a top composer. The film will have rich visuals and strong background score.

Right now the shoot is going on at Gandikota in YSR Kadapa district, which is called as the Grand Canyon of India for its rocky mountains around a river with scenic locations. The team is filming key scenes at the fort entrance and old granary. More than 500 junior artists are part of the crowd scenes. The shoot will continue there for one more week. After Gandikota, the unit will move to Ramoji Film City for palace scenes. Costume and weapon teams worked for a year to design the 19th-century look.

Ranabali will release worldwide in September 2026. The makers plan to release it in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Fans are excited to see Vijay Deverakonda in a historical role for the first time. Rashmika Mandanna plays a princess in the film. The first look and teaser will come out in July. The team says Ranabali will be a big action drama with a strong message.
