Jana Nayagan To Fight With Kara And Karuppu for Post Election Release Slot

Three major Kollywood films - Jana Nayagan, Dhanush's Kara, and Suriya's Karuppu - are gearing up for a thrilling box office clash in the post-Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections window. The highly anticipated films are vying for the same release dates, setting the stage for an exciting showdown. 

The Jana Nayagan team is aiming to release the film immediately after the elections, but the competition is fierce. Dhanush's Kara, directed by Vignesh Raja, has already locked April 30 as its release date, positioning itself as the first major release post-elections. Suriya's Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji, is targeting a May 1 release, putting it in direct competition with Kara and Jana Nayagan.

The Jana Nayagan re-certification screening, originally scheduled for March 9, was postponed due to a CBFC member's illness. The new screening date is set for March 17, and producers are determined to secure the censor certificate within this month.

With all three films eyeing the same release window, Kollywood fans can expect an intense box office battle in early May. The competition is heating up, and fans are eagerly waiting to see which film will emerge victorious.
