Dhurandhar Becomes Netflix Most Watched Indian Film

Ranveer Singh's action thriller Dhurandhar has achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the most-watched Indian film on Netflix with 220 lakh views in just 31 days since its release on January 30. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has dominated the Indian streaming scene and gained global recognition.

Dhurandhar's success isn't limited to India; it's been the top-watched movie on Netflix in several countries, including Bangladesh, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mauritius, and Nigeria. The film's global viewership continues to rise, with 13 lakh views in its fifth weekend alone and 45 lakh hours viewed.

The film's box office performance has been equally impressive, earning ₹1,305.35 crore worldwide, with ₹299.5 crore from overseas markets and ₹1,005.85 crore from India during its 77-day run. Dhurandhar has broken multiple records, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film in India and the second-highest-grossing Hindi film globally.

The film features an ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar was released on December 5, 2025, and has received widespread acclaim. Dhurandhar's sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is set to hit theaters on March 19, 2026, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
