Fan Celebrate Pongal Rajinikanth Temple. Pongal is celebrated with much verve across the state of Tamil Nadu today. In the meantime, a diehard fan of Super Star Rajinikanth celebrated the festival in a unique way at Rajinikanth temple in Madurai.

Karthik along with his family celebrated Pongal with bullock cart display, navadhanyam and idols. Karthik bult the temple at his house with 300KG statue of Rajinikanth.

Karthik shared “Pongal is a festival dedicated to farmers. It’s meant to honour them and the rural lifestyle. Even though many of us live in cities now, we wanted to recreate the village atmosphere,”

His family recreated Rajinikanth's iconic scene from his film Muthu.  A life-size Rajini idol was posed on a bullock cart, echoing the film’s famous horse-cart sequence.

“It’s our way of blending tradition with the magic of Rajini,” he added. Rajinikanth on the professional front will be teaming with Kamal Haasan under the direction of Cibi Chakravarthi.
