James Cameron's "Avatar: Fire and Ash" has crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India, with ₹13.5 crore earned on Christmas Day and ₹7 crore on December 26, taking the total to ₹117 crore. The film is performing well in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, with a global collection of over ₹5,000 crore.
The movie's success can be attributed to its big cast, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, and Sigourney Weaver, as well as its epic storyline. Cameron has already hinted at sequels coming in 2029 and 2031, leaving fans excited for more.
Avatar: Fire And Ash has become the highest-grossing Hollywood film of 2025 in India, surpassing Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning (₹100.56 crores), F1 (₹102.82 crores), and Jurassic World Rebirth (₹100.56 crores). The film's current collection is 117 crores, making it the lowest-grossing installment of the Avatar franchise.
With the Christmas and New Year festive season in full swing, Avatar: Fire And Ash is on track to surpass the first Avatar movie's ₹141.25 crore net collection in India. However, it still has a long way to go to match Avatar: The Way Of Water's ₹390.6 crores.
