Dhandoraa Trailer Unleashes Raw Drama on Caste Power and Awakening

The trailer for Dhandoraa, a rural drama produced by Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni under Loukya Entertainments, has dropped, showcasing a gripping narrative rooted in Telangana's social and cultural landscape. Directed by Muralikant, the film confronts caste, dignity, and human conscience through grounded storytelling.

The trailer opens with a haunting image of a dead body being carried across villages, establishing death as the film's emotional trigger. A child's innocent question about why his grandmother's body must travel so far is met with a chilling line, highlighting the rigid social boundaries governing the village. The visuals linger on faces, silences, and pauses, grounding the film in lived rural reality.

As the trailer progresses, discussions around cremation escalate into outright rejection, pushing the body and attached people to the margins. Personal moments add emotional texture, while the background score intensifies, culminating in the chant of "Dhandoraa… Dhandoraa," transforming the narrative into a collective alarm. 

The film has generated strong pre-release traction, with the Nizam rights acquired by Mythri Movies and overseas distribution secured by Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures. The audio rights are with T-Series, strengthening the film's musical footprint. Dhandoraa is set for early overseas premieres starting December 23, 2025, across 200+ theatres, and will release worldwide on December 25, 2025.
