Ranveer Singh's spy action thriller Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has unlocked a massive milestone, crossing ₹500 crores gross at the domestic box office in just 14 days making it one of the fastest films ever to achieve this feat. It’s the third Indian and second Bollywood movie of 2025 to hit this mark, and Ranveer’s first half-billion grosser.

Released on December 15 amid high expectations, Dhurandhar had a blazing start, raking in ₹250 crores (₹207 crores net) in its opening week. Remarkably, it grew in its second week, adding ₹300+ crores (₹250+ crores net), pushing the domestic gross past ₹500 crores. The film is now the 16th Indian movie to enter this prestigious club, following giants like SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning (2015).

With ₹450 crore net (₹550 crore gross) in 13 days, Dhurandhar is the seventh highest grossing Hindi film in India. Globally, it’s earned ₹674 crore, surpassing Baahubali’s ₹650 crore, and now ranks 18th among highest grossing Indian films. Overseas, it’s collected nearly $17 million, boosted by a blockbuster word of mouth.

The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and more, is based on real-life spy missions in Pakistan. A sequel hits theaters on March 19, 2026. While Avatar: Fire and Ash’s release this Friday may impact screen space,

Dhurandhar is pegged to become the first Indian film to touch ₹1000 crores in 2025. With its gripping narrative and action, Dhurandhar is on a roll.
