Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu's Akhanda 2 has generated decent box office numbers despite mixed reviews since its release on December 12. The action-packed sequel, exploring themes of Sanatana Dharma and patriotism, opened with promising revenues, collecting over ₹50 crore in its first three days.
The latest buzz is that Akhanda 2 is set for a special screening for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Director Boyapati Srinu revealed this at the film’s success meet in Hyderabad, stating the PM has expressed interest in watching the film. No official date is announced yet, but this marks a significant milestone for the team.
At the event, Boyapati Srinu emphasized, “India is like a library of dharma, where dharma is the root of our nation. The film’s success is proof of God’s will.” He thanked the audience for their support and highlighted the innovative experience of presenting Akhanda 2 in 3D. Echoing Thaman’s sentiments, he urged unity in the Telugu film industry.
