Akhanda2 hurdles cleared: Release date announcement soon

In a good news to all the fans of Natasimha Balakrishna, the Madras High Court cleared decks for the release of the film.

It is known that the High Court stalled the film release on 5 December 2025 as Eros International approached it over the non clearances of the dues from the 14 Reels Plus banner, the production house of Akhanda2.

According to the latest "The Madras High Court has officially cleared Akhanda2 after Eros and 14 Reels submitted a settlement agreement... Distributors clearing all the payments... 12th December 2025..."

With the decks cleared for the film release, the makers are planning to release the film on 12 December 2025 and are seeking permission from the governments of two Telugu states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for the premiers  and special shows and also hike in ticket rates which they have already done earlier.

This changes the release dates of various small films like Esha, Mowgli 2025 and Psych Siddhartha etc. The ticketing sites like Bookmyshow and others may open the bookings soon.

The film is the sequel to the hit film Akhanda and stars Samyukta, Aadi Pinisetty and others in important roles. The music is tuned by Thaman.
