Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor got injured while practising an intense Lavani sequence and this resulted in the postponment of her film Eetha shoot.
Eetha is the biopic on Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar and Shraddha Kapoor suffered fracture on her toe on her left foot. Doctors adviced her two week rest. Ajay-Atul composed the Lavani sequence which require requires immense precision and stamina. Shraddha was performing in full traditional attire: a Nauvari saree, heavy jewellery and a kamarpatta, adding extra weight and complexity to the choreography.
Shraddha gained weight of 15 kgs for her role in the film and though Shraddha insisted on completing the close shots but director Lakshman Utekar decided to call off the shoot.
Maharashtra. Vithabai, known as the 'Tamasha Samradini,' received the President’s Award in 1957 and 1990 for her contribution to Maharashtra’s folk dance. Though the biopic was not announced officially, the shoot commenced on 1 November at Audhewadi. The team will also film in Solapur, Satara, and Kolhapur.
